Gala: Dance Now!

An afternoon of dance, music, fashion + architecture!

Sunday Jazz Brunch honoring “Woman of the Year,” former Miami Beach Commissioner and arts advocate Nancy Liebman and the Miami Design Preservation League.

Dance NOW!’s Gala will feature jazz music from the Max Farber Duo with performances from the company’s world-class dancers and its scholarship students sprouting up throughout the garden. Chernaya Bridal House will exhibit “The Art of Bridal” featuring the work of their Couture Designers, and an historical chronology of the work of MDPL will also be on display. CenterPlate Catering and the Crepemaker will serve a delicious brunch and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will provide the Bloody Marys to round out our celebration.

Miami-area pink fanatics rejoice! After the overwhelming success of the inaugural La Nuit en Rosé event held in 2014 in New York City, the world’s first festival dedicated entirely to rosé wines and champagne announces its first Miami event, scheduled for January 30-February 1, 2015, at The Miami Beach EDITION, which is newly opened.

La Nuit en Rosé Miami will offer a variety of ways to celebrate pink wine: Start with a VIP Rosé Wine Pairing Dinner on La Vista Terrace at The Miami Beach EDITION, overlooking the ocean and featuring an exclusive menu from the Matador Room by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, presented by media sponsor Wine Enthusiast Media and followed by both media/trade and consumer daytime and evening events. The Capitol Steps

The Capitol Steps is a comedy troupe that has been a Washington, DC institution for over thirty years, providing a unique blend of musical and political comedy to our Nation’s Capitol and more. Calligraphy by Hu Ching-San

This travelling exhibition displays the calligraphic works of Mr. HU Ching-san, Deputy Chief Curator of the Department of Rare Books of the National Palace Museum of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Mr. HU Ching-san has provided fifteen types of calligraphic art that depict the development of Chinese characters. Through introducing to audiences the beauty of Chinese calligraphy, the exhibition aims to display the depth and power of Chinese culture.
